MicroEra Power is working with support from NYSERDA (PON 3519, NextGen HVAC Challenge), the U.S. DOE (SBIR, Phase 1), and Greentown Labs to develop THERMAplus, a ground-breaking tunable thermal energy storage system. THERMAplus will integrate with heat pumps to optimize efficiency, increase resiliency, reduce capX, and provide an engineered tunable storage medium to reduce ground loop drilling requirements to bring geothermal technology to an approachable price point for mass-deployment.
